How and when did you get your pet?
I got Sarah when I was 14 and in the 9th grade. My mom and I drove down the road from our home and met Sarah's original owners at the town post office. I remember this tiny and scared furball being placed in my arms. She looked up at me and I fell in love.
What does your pet like to do for fun?
Sarah loved to run. She loved that taste of freedom. She also seemed to enjoy playing with any other dogs that we took in as pets during her long life.
Do you have anything else to share about your pet?
I had Sarah for over half of my life. She really was a member of the family. She was the most gentle and peaceful dog I have ever met. Old age finally got the best of her and we had to take the pain away. I don't know if former pets count in this contest, but she definitely impacted my life and deserved the kudos!
