With the holidays fast approaching, and the family being of various ages, from 8 to 80, I would love some ideas to keep everyone entertained and have some fun too! Thanks for anything you can come up with that would not be to expensive.

Here's one I've done - send an e-mail message (or if you see folks in person, grab your paper and pencil!) and ask, "What was the best Christmas gift you ever received?" At your gathering, read the question, and then read the first answer. Guests try to guess who gave that answer.
Do the same with the second answer and so on. If you want to make it a competition, everyone will need to write down their answer to #1, #2, etc. The one with the most correct answers, wins! This not only generates a lot of laughs, it also brings many surprise answers and fun discussions!
