Is 10x sugar one of the purest forms of sucrose?

I am not sure what you mean by purest. Sucrose is cane or beet sugar.
If that is what is on the ingredient list, I would hope it would be pure (at least in the US per FDA guidelines).
10 X is just the number of times it is processed to get it into the fine crystals. Confectioner's sugar is 10 times/milled processed to be the fine (itty bitty size crystals).
If this isn't what you are asking, please post back and I will see what I can do to help! Thanks!
Powdered sugar, confectioners sugar and 10x are the same thing. 10x refers to how fine the sugar is.
10x, Confectioners, Powdered Sugar and icing sugar are the same just called different names and are all interchangeable in recipes.
All of these are just sugar; ground very, very fine with a little cornstarch added to keep it from lumping. You can make your own if you grind regular sugar to powder, add a little cornstarch and strain it through a fine mesh strainer.
