My husband's grandmother's dining room set. Any idea of year of design and current value? Solid and good condition. Finish is banged up a little on the lower legs.

According to many furniture appraisers, Bassett furniture is usually on the bottom (or close to the bottom) of the list when it comes to the best furniture brands.
I think it may have to do with their later works and perhaps their earlier work was of better quality.
Check this site - bottom on the site page.
No one can tell you very much about value as the pictures only show bits and pieces of what you have.
You would need pictures of each piece and measurements.
One pictures looks like it may be a dresser?
Another member, PGHgirl, will be able to tell you more but I can only suggest you take pictures of each piece and post it on the site as they offer help all the time.
Be sure to show the Bassett logo also.

It is hard to get a good read on the set, but it appears to be from the very early 1960s.
Does it have the model number or style on the back?
The logo is definitely from that time period (covered wagon).
Value is regional and supply and demand based. You can call around to thrift stores and see what you would pay to get something like it.
If you don't want to go to that work, start at $1000 and take best offer, which could be much lower.
Be honest about the damage when taking photos and showing people.
If you have an option, I would recommend having a consignment store sell it for you. You will probably fetch more (although you will have to split the profits) but you will not have people in and out to look at it or have to worry about people picking it up.
China closets are awful to move...you don't want to be responsible for that one, I am betting!
Post back how your sale goes!
I see you have Bassett China Cabinet / Hutch, Sideboard Buffet and Dinning Table with 6 Chairs. I think your furniture is made from Cherry. Look at the back of your China Cabinet or Sideboard Buffet, or at the back of your table. It should have info, like here d29jd5m3t61t9.cloudfront.net/
I found the same Bassett Dining Room Set www.myantiquefurniturecollection.../
It says that such furniture was sold in 1966.
So you have Bassett Cavelo Cherry Marquise Set. It features a scalloped top contour design with carved doors and serpentine dovetail drawers.
Bassett Cavelo Dior Cherry Marquise China Hutch, size 47.25" W x 14.5" D x 70" H was auctioned for $40 auctions.transitionaldesign.net/
Bassett Cavelo Dior Cherry Marquise Dining Set features a scalloped top table with 6 upholstered cushion seats and a 12-inch extension leaf, Table: 57" L x 40" W; Chairs: 19.5" W x 36" H, was auctioned for $45.05 auctions.transitionaldesign.net/
Cavelo Cherry Glass-Front China Cabinet in very good condition is on sale for $250 www.varagesale.com/
You haven't written which furniture finish is banged up a little.
The estimated price for China Cabinet in good condition is $250, Sideboard Buffet $150-200, Dinning Table with Chairs $250-300, but it is quite difficult to sell such furniture at a high price. The price depends on the demand in your area, since the delivery of such furniture is very expensive.
Basset is middle of the road furniture. This traditional dining room set is being given away in my area. I would ask $300 for it, since it is damaged in some areas and lower my price if necessary.
I found the same china cabinet as yours. Bassett French provincial maple china cabinet & hutch. Measures 70" tall, 48" wide, and 15" deep, has 2 shelves with plate grooves behind the glass door, bottom has a double drawer, a single drawer, and 2 cabinets.
