I was wondering if anyone might have information about this piece? I believe it's called "Discovery of America." It's a heavy sculpture and has a signature, but I believe it may be fake because there's no color, no edition or other makings that I've seen on other pieces. I bought it with no box or authentication. Thank you!

The one above is asking $450.
A genuine one would have markings on it.
I cannot find any information stating that G. Armani made any completely colorless sculpture/figurines. Here is a page listing all of the finishes; the 'F' finish says 'white' but then states 'flesh tones of exposed skin are dominant':
There are very few Armani forums anymore so I'm not sure where to suggest you try asking your question other than Reddit. These members love a mystery so they may be able to find more information. You will have to join but you will probably receive answers fast.

As to value; I see several of these listed for sale and some at very high prices but the three sold listings that I found all sold for less than $200.

I am here and this is interesting.
When I worked in Hallmark stores there was sometimes talk of things "falling off the truck" at the factory and that pieces would "escape" without being painted. It was never in writing, of course, just talk. Usually the piece had a flaw and were supposed to be destroyed, but someone couldn't do it.
This piece looks authentic until you get to the coloring, which differs from piece to piece, but never colorless and all are marked. Are there any visible flaws--a crack, a chip etc.? I wish I could see it in person.
I found the original ad for the piece in a 1990s newspaper from my subscription to newspapers.com, which I am attaching. It claims all are signed and numbered, which is what we were always taught when selling. We were also always taught to tell people to keep the boxes and all paperwork as it would increase the value. Sadly for most things that has become irrelevant, but for these figurines it is still relevant for many.
Do you know any history? Where are you located? If you are not the original owner, do you know anything about him/her/they/them?
I would be curious to hear with Reddit says or this gallery sells a lot of pieces, maybe they can offer inside info:

Please do post back with the details. I would love to know of those rumors all those years ago were true!
My mother collected Armanis in the 90s and Ive admired hers through the years! I found this one at a thrift shop, so I have no history. I couldnt believe my eyes when I found it! The only flaw that I can see is a red spot on the the knee of the figure on the right. I tried to post on Reddit, but am having trouble adding an image, so not sure Ill be successful.
Reddit is not very 'user friendly' but you can post your pictures through this link; if still having problems ask an administrator for help.
