I do not believe anyone can correctly answer your questions, as wood identity is almost impossible by looking at a picture such as this.
You state this is Bassett but you failed to show a picture of the markings, so even approximate year(s) cannot be quoted as Bassett changed their logos over the years.
You may be able to ask your questions on this site but the members will probably want pictures of the markings.
