I have this Goldenvale Native American doll that is in a hammock. It has a brown eye and a green eye. Did they all come that way or is this a factory mistake?

Can you post a photo? I am thinking it is a bad repair job and not a factory mistake. I sold lots of these when I worked retail and mistakes like that never hit the floor. From what we learned, if there was a rare mistake, they were destroyed immediately. Sadly even if it was a factory mistake that didn't get destroyed, it would not increase the value. There are just too many dolls on the market and odd one would not be sought after like mistakes in coins or stamps.
Where you might see value is when you find them with red or pink or purple eyes. What that is what happens when the cheap materials they used in the eyes reacted to air and sun and "turned" weird colors. Sometimes just one eye turns the wonky color.
Around Halloween people sell those on ebay claiming they are haunted. Sometimes sell for way more than they are worth if they had normal colors. Crazy huh!!
I have never seen a doll with two different colored eyes. I think it is a mistake.
