I found this lamp at a yard sale years ago. I liked that it was a metal so I couldn't destroy it. Now I don't need it and am thinking of selling it but I don't know how to describe it as I don't know much about lamps in general. What description would you put in the search engine? I found Heyco on the grommet where the cord enters the body of the lamp. That a brand? Shade is yellowed and has a few crinkles inside it. I have no clue how to price it.

Heyco manufactures lamp parts, not the lamp itself. Look underneath the base of the lamp to see if there are manufacturers markings.
Here are some Heyco brand lamps for a reference for pricing your lamp:

all i see is the number. Looks like there might have been an oval sticker on the lamp at one time.
