This is my husband's grandmother's New Home sewing machine. The local Historical Society will accept it with more details. Her son said she got it about 1920.
Marie Kuehl Reimer lived from 1891- 1990. She was a wife and mother to six kids living in their rural Guttenberg Iowa farm home. Here is the only number we could find-- 3070815
If you could give me a year that would be great. In that type of situation would they have bought it through Sears, and delivered by train, boat on the Mississippi. Obviously I have no clue how this all worked. And if there is a value that would be interesting to know. If there are no answers here, can you give me a website or telephone number. Thank you very much.
