I found this 17" cloth-bodied porcelain doll in a UK charity shop recently (July 2021) and judging by her condition she doesn't look that old. She is in as mint condition as she appeared in the images. After showing said images to a friend, she expressed an interest in acquiring one and asked me to look for anything which might indicate who made her.
I had a look in all the usual places (soles of the feet, back of the head) but found nothing. I know there are lots of unbranded dolls out there but I would like to know if anyone recognizes her or knows anything about who made her? Any information would be very much appreciated. Thank you.

She is lovely.
It will be very difficult to find information on this particular doll as there are just so many 'similar' dolls it will probably take someone who specializes in just dolls and they may have trouble pinpointing a maker as there have been so many doll companies making almost identical dolls over the past 50 years.
You could try posting pictures on some of the doll forums to see what information they can supply. You will have to join the groups to be able to post.
Be sure to provide measurements also.

I see your doll was on sale before Jul 20, 2021 on ebay.com with the price GBP 15.00 www.ebay.com/
Have you examined your doll really well? Are there any inscriptions on her body with the name of the collection, for example, like here: ireland.apollo.olxcdn.com/
I found a doll similar to yours, the price is $30.99 but it has a slightly different color of shoes, no hat, lip paint is damaged www.ebay.com/
You may find one on ebay like your doll:

Thank you for your response. You pointed me in the right direction. I found one on eBay.com and now know the manufacturer! And the year it was manufactured!
Please share the info so we can all benefit from the answer! Thanks bunches!
Sorry. I forgot to include the most important part... The doll in question was part of the Angelina Collection and - despite her appearance in the images - is long-since retired as she was originally manufactured in 1997. I believe the 'Angelina' in question is Angelina Visconti, a well-known American doll manufacturer, so this particular doll has already collected quite a few Airmiles!
Unbranded dolls are usually mass-produced, and have little value. Have you undressed the doll to look for markings?
Hi,
After inspecting all the usual places for some indication of the maker, I started looking in unusual ones too. Nothing. No label on the cloth body, no stamp or mark.
Thanks for sharing her pedigree!! I am a long time reseller and sold dolls (new when I worked retail in the 1980s-1990s) and in the resale market for many years. She did not look familiar and I have not heard of that line--which always amazes me how much more I have to learn. Thanks for posting back. Now I am going to study up on these gals! They are cute.
