You have a 19k gold ring there. Take good care of it!
What does that mean Im even more confused now
I'm sure Judy will respond but that means you have a ring with a very high content of gold. Usually rings are no more than 14k gold as the metal can be very soft without the other metals added. The stone is quite large so the ring could be valuable or old. I would definitely take it somewhere to have it appraised, although it may only be worth the weight of the gold and gemstone.
Please let us know what you find out.
Thank you so very much were u able to read what the rings says inside or possibly a maker? It was well worth my $3.00 spree then . I picked up a few others as well that Ill post for info also. And the stone would be a ??
I couldn't make out the markings at all so I don't see where it says it is 19K. The gem looks like a garnet to me but it is a little hard to make out the color from your pictures.
I'd say it's well worth $3. :)
