Looking for any information on this humidor. What I do know is that it was made by the C.E Monroe Co. circa 1900 in Meriden Connecticut. Any history and approximate value would be appreciated.
I believe your piece was made by C.F. Monroe (not C.E.).
C.F. Monroe was in business from 1882 to 1916 and made several different types of glass products.
Here is an article about the company:

This site also sells items so you may be able to contact them to ask what they might pay - just for starters. You will need several pictures and measurements.

As to value - this would be difficult to provide as eBay's sold listings show C.F. Monroe items selling from a low of $29 to a high of hundreds; maybe thousands/ This just means you will need to contact someone that can maybe help you appraise it.
You might also try searching eBay and Etsy to see if you can find your item or just look at some that are similar. I believe most people are calling this style jewelry boxes, trinket boxes, etc.
I cannot read the writing on your box so maybe that could give you some clues.

It seems that each piece has something special about it that will have a bearing on the value.
If no one here knows, you could upload the picture to the forum at the Antiques Road Show at PBS.org.
I would think it would have some value, since it is over 100 years old, and considered an antique.
