This was my grandfathers. He passed away in the 60's and my dad had it A couple of years ago I got it and found 6 holes inside on the top and the bottom of it. Does anyone know what it was, when it was made and value?
This may be an antique/vintage medical cabinet. Usually, an apothecary cabinet has a lot of different size drawers.
Was your grandfather in the medical profession?
I believe you will need more professional advice on what this is, along with expert advice on the value.
You could start by asking for information on this site:
These members are very good with identify all types of furniture.
You will have to join before posting - ask for help if you have problems posting.
You will need more pictures. Especially the inside of the cabinet.
Open the doors. Does the inside shelf look like it is original with the cabinet? Best to remove items for pictures.
I would also suggest you ask for an online appraisal. This service is free and if it is valuable this is the best step to take.

Hopefully, other members will have more information.
Since there are no shelves and, as I understand it, there are not even traces of shelf holders, this cannot be a medicine cabinet.
I think it has been modified.
For example, the lower part is too close to the floor. I have never seen antique furniture standing on the floor with such a bottom. This is most likely part of an antique wardrobe.
You didn't add a photo of the holes you wrote about in your comment. Look what the bindings looked like in an 1800s Antique Wardrobe, they needed holes at the top:

Also the door has not 4 boards but 6 (two each at the top and bottom and two on the sides), so I think two boards with round moldings were added at the top and bottom of the door. I also think that the stripes on the doors were added at the end of the modification, but something went wrong and the stripes at the top and bottom are different.
I think it is a part of an antique narrow wardrobe, most likely with a long mirror on the door, it was modified so we can't find anything similar.
It is very difficult to determine the value of modified and painted furniture, it is very dependent on the demand in your area.

Antique Oak Armoire, Tiger Oak Jacobean Revival Closet, Scotland 1910 sold for $920:
Just curious. Is this wood or metal? Is it a perfect rectangle or is the top or bottom a different length? Can you show a close up of the hinges and the locking mechanism? My first thought was handmade, but then my second thought was it was an old icebox that someone took out the innards and that is why you just see the holes.
Maybe with more I can help Thanks!
This looks like a display case found in an old fashioned drug store or pharmacy.
Maybe it's an apothecary cabinet. This small cabinet is listed for $723: www.ebay.com/
You might want to have your cabinet professionally appraised if you plan to sell it.
