I am looking for any information on this mower. As far as I can tell it may be a 1949 Toro The professional model. Serial number is rusted off.
Can anyone tell me how to get the value on this? It is from my late grandfather's estate.

Values on vintage lawn mowers varies greatly and a lot depends on where it is located.
Of course, the first criteria is how well it is running, as well as the overall 'cosmetic' condition. The location is important as these are very expensive to ship.
Your mower is a 'professional' model and was most likely used for golf course maintenance, so you will be looking for a buyer who has a very large lawn to maintain.
I would suggest you take this mower to a local Toro dealer as they should be able to provide a lot of information and may even be interested in buying it. You can also check with Tractor Plus or any shop that repairs Toro mowers.
These types of people will have more knowledge than just people on a forum.
It will be best if you can take the mower, as pictures just are not good enough for this type of information.
You do not say if it's running but the condition looks pretty good from the pictures.
If you locate the model/serial number, you may be able to locate a manual:
I did not find any similar sold mowers but this later model is for sale on eBay. You can always place a 'watch' on this mower to see if it sells but at least this gives you an idea of what someone is asking for a similar mower. Notice the location as your area may be better or worse than another area.

I found information about Toro Professional
"The Toro Professional and the Toro Park special started production during the pre war years and continued into the 1960s."
Early 1950s mowers no longer have the green color or Toro Engines. About 1950 Toro changed the color or the equipment from Green to red.
This vintage 1964 Toro Professional Mower has the price $349.99
