I recently found a set of these chairs. Any idea age and value? Thank you!

These look like chairs from the early 1960s. Bassett was never a high-end company. I dont think the chairs are worth more than $25 each.
Thank you!

I love this unique style of chair, I feel more help is needed. You can try showing you pictures locally to antique appraisers, because value depends on location and wear, rarity of the piece.
By 'set'; do you mean 2? or 4?
Usually, chairs bring more money for each chair if 4 chairs are available.
It is difficult to place a value when just chairs are involved and I have not found any chairs that are really similar to yours.
I would suggest you join this site and post your pictures to see if anyone can help you.

The paper says "W.M. Bassett Furniture Co. Division of Bassett Furniture Industries, Inc." and "Martinsville, Virginia".
I found history of the Bassett Furniture Industries, Inc. www.fundinguniverse.com/
In 1927, William Bassett left his job as head of the J.D. Bassett Manufacturing Co. and then bought the Craig Furniture Co. in nearby Martinsville, which he renamed
the W.M. Bassett Furniture Co.
In 1930, the Bassetts and their investors formed Bassett Furniture Industries, Inc., a holding company for three furniture manufacturers, in 1931, there were four separate marketing organizations for Bassett products: the Bassett Furniture Co., J.D. Bassett Manufacturing Co., William M. Bassett Furniture Co., and the Bassett Chair Co. (in 1957 Bassett Table Co.).
Your chairs are made after 1930.
