Information on a Gund Stuffed Toy?

Information on a Gund Stuffed Toy - stuffed dogI wanted to know what this specific toy is. I know that she is a Gund branded toy and I've had her since childhood, but I have no idea where she specifically came from. I believe she may have been made late in the 90s early 2000s, but I'm not too sure. Last time I found the same dog was in person from a student. I wanted to know the brand so if possible I can purchase another one of her so that in case I lose her, I'll have one just like her.

There are a few on eBay at the moment. I would ask the sellers if the tags match model number:

Here is one (NOT ME SELLING SO NO CONFLICT HERE):

www.ebay.com/.../1351212269?iid=131623954437

I see these on eBay fairly often (listed as Gund Puppy or Gund Dog).

The key is to be very clear with the seller that you need to match the model number on the tag.

Post back with an update! Hope you find her! She is sweet!!

If you can't find another stuffed animal online I would suggest that you make a few of them from this company. They can reproduce your animal that you love so much and the price is very reasonable. www.budsies.com/

There were so many stuffed/plush puppies made during this period that it will be difficult to find the exact model. You do not state a size so this makes it more difficult to do research.

Things to look for:
Size.
A lay down model - not a sit up only model.
Type of legs and paws.
Length of ears.
Type of 'plush'.
Jointed (movable) legs? Unable to tell from your picture.
Many sellers do not show complete tags.

I originally thought it might be Muttsy as he was the most popular Gund puppy (of all time probably). Yours does not appear to be Muttsy so in your research you can eliminate Muttsy, 1985, #1362, padded paws.
Example:

www.ebay.com/.../174189882172?hash=item288e86ab3c...

Here is a similar one but has a little different curved leg?

www.ebay.com/.../123716075019?hash=item1cce0d7e0b...

You might try sending question to Gund but many companies do not provide answers about past models.

Sometimes asking questions on forums work better than anything else.
