I found this piece, but it doesn't match Virginia Rose even though it's marked Virginia Rose. I would like to know what the pattern is, when it was made, and how much it may be worth.

It looks like they have several patterns that go under the Virginia Rose name. All of them are quite inexpensive. www.google.com/
So if I read this website right, your piece was made in February 1937:

I know there are a number of flower patterns under Virginia Rose and each have their own sub-name.
I inherited a set of one of the VR patterns that is one of the most common florals and even among that pattern there were look alike that have one flower different that have a totally different sub-name.
The one you have is not one that I have ever seen, but that is probably because there are just so many and it hasn't come to my attention yet. I did not see it on Replacements.com, which is unusual.
You can send the photo to them to see if they can give you the sub-name or you can ask at the Homer Laughlin collector site if they can give you the name:
I know generally most of these, today, the values of all of the HL pieces, and most china has dropped. I sold a number of my pieces when the market was strong and made a nice tidy sum. I went back last year to sell off some more and it wasn't worth the postage to ship them to the company.
The market is cyclical so I am hoping the values will come back.
Post back what you learn! Thanks for sharing!
