Do you know anything about this table? It is walnut with a Formica top (?).
Mersman # appears to be 34-7.

The tables with Formica tops are less valuable than the all-wood ones. I would place the value at $35-$40.
WOW! This is the month for the neatest Mersman tables I have ever seen!! I have never seen one like this one! It is lovely!!
Mersman made millions of tables, so that I haven't seen one like it only means it wasn't popular where I am. They were quite the prolific company from the late 1800s until they closed in the 1980s.
Here is a link with a nice history of the company:
This is a classic mid century modern (MCM) piece--clean lines, functional and sturdy! I would venture to guess it was made in the 1950s or early 1960s (which are middle of the 20th century where the term MCM came from).
I would say it is an end table or a side table. Most pieces this size were used next to a chair or couch to hold a lamp (and ashtray back in the day). Magazines and books on the next shelf and what not (on the bottom level--tissues, your readers etc.
If you are asking about your piece to set a value to price to sell,
I only recommend using current market values from SOLD pieces on eBay (or other reputable auction sites) as that tells you what someone is actually PAYING for an item...vs.
Everything has no value until someone pays for it!
That said, there are none on eBay at the moment either sold or active (I always suggest watching an active auction to see what it sold for and that is your value).
If there are none in the next few days (since the market changes daily) you may want to take the piece or a few good photos, to an antique dealer and get him/her to give you an insurance value for it....there may be lots in your area which would drive the value down, but if there are only a few and the demand is there, it could fetch you a nice amount (I am thinking in the $100-$300 range just based on my experiences).
If you do sell it yourself, be sure to use the term MCM in the ad. This term will gain more visitors to your ad than the Mersman numbers....their numbers are so wonky that most people just forgo them and describe the piece by size, shape, wood type, etc.
Lovely piece!! I am so excited to see it!
I can't find anything on the internet close to this. I found at Goodwill and it doesn't have a scratch on it!! I bought to use, not to sell. I love MCM and this was a treasure for me. Actually I never thought of Mersman as being MCM and was surprised to see the name on the piece.
Mersman made the gamut from Victorian styles to colonial to MCM. I have not met a piece yet that I don't just love!
Use your lovely piece in good health and ENJOY!!!! It is really a great find!!
