My name is Madhuri and I have started my interior designing work with my friend Kshipra. I want you to suggest to me a name for our company. We basically thought of a name for our company, "Design Niche", but still want to see more options. I'm still not that satisfied with this name.

Madhuri, I agree that Design Niche is a nice name, but I see a couple of problems with it. I hope you take my comments as well-intentioned.

First, it's too generic. It doesn't define your business niche. You want a name that clearly tells people what you can do for them, i.e., interior design. Niche is an architectural term, but most of your customers probably use the word more generally.

Second, Mumbai is such a large, busy, vibrant, exciting city, home of Bollywood (you must lead interesting lives), and I think your business name should reflect that excitement.

You can always tailor your design menu to residential or commercial, e.g Internal Combustion or Internal Affairs for bedroom designs, Free Enterprise Zone or Thinking Outside Pandora's Box for offices. Stuff like that.
