AWW!! Love her! She looks like a sweetie!

Your vet can give you the best guesstimate as they look at teeth, bone structure, etc. and compare it against breed standards.

I say she has some "bully breed" in her, but her long legs and high thigh arch are not traditional of the bully breed lines--look more like greyhound or boxer or one of the other taller, leaner breeds.

This is a nice article on the bully breeds: www.pitbulllovers.com/.../

I am of the mind of love them no matter what, but I understand people have concerns and there are some communities that discriminate against dogs of a breed...which is crazy.

May you and your pup have a lovely life together!

Her head looks a little small to be a full blooded pit bull. She looks like she is a mixed breed but I'm not sure what breed she would be mixed with. The dog is 6 months old and he's had her at the vet several times for her shots.

The next time you visit your vet please ask them if they could help you to identify the mixed breed of your dog. They should be able to give you a good idea of what the dog is mixed with.

Looks pretty lanky to be a pure bred Blue Nose but your vet can probably shed a little light on her mix.

Just be very sure to get all of her shots/vaccinations as it would be very bad if she contracted some virus or disease at such a young age.

You may want to think about a DNA test as these are getting less expensive and usually pretty accurate. The kits that are sold at PetSmart are good.

This may seem crazy but my question is it does she have a blue nose? The term red-nose and blue-nose are nothing but simply colors. Backyard breeders use these terms to get more money. Sadly people think the term blue nose and red nose are a certain type. They are not.

Also the term Pitbull is not the breed. That is a slang term used for the American Pitbull Terrier, the American Staffordshire Terrier and the bull terrier.
