I always assumed Astor was a Chi, but his floppy ears have me wondering if he's actually a Chiweenie. He's over 2 years old so if his ears were going to prick, they would have already.

A mix is possible because of the ears, but without seeing Astor's body, it is hard to tell if the mix is dachshund. Doxies have barrel chests, curved legs, and (usually) long tails.
Astor's face looks all apple head Chi!

He is very sweet!! I want to hug him! He looks like he is saying "what are you staring at! I know I am too cute for words!!"
Astor does look like he may be a mix of Chihuahua and Dachshund but it would be easier to tell if his feet and body could be seen more clearly.
From his face I can see the chihuahua. I would like to see a picture showing the rest of his body.
I don't think there is Dachshund in this just by looking at the face. Could you show a photo of the body? That would help!
