I'm 99.5% sure that my dog is a Chiweenie. The vet's office that we got her from didn't have much information, as her previous owners had dropped her off to be put down because she licked their new baby, or something like that. I also suspect that she has been abused too, as you could see her ribs when we first got her. Also she once flinched when we got the broom out and the fly swatter. Though she doesn't do that anymore, she still cowers down even after 7 years when she knows she's done something wrong like she is going to be hit.
Because of her color, I know she probably isn't full-blooded dachshund, because she's all black. And one of her ears is always straight up, one is always down and one is always up, and I've seen similar pictures of Chiweenies that resemble her, she has the dachshund length and weight (I would say 15 lb, but most is all muscle) and her legs aren't short.

I think she is. You can always invest in a DNA test to be sure.
I may consider that someday, but out of my means currently.
What a doll baby!!! Oh my!! I love a wienie dog!!! My Clarence is a black and tan wire hair and I have had doxies most of my adult life.
I see mostly daschshund in the leg bend, body and tail. There are all black daschshund. The ears and snout have something else mixed in, maybe Chihuahua, but maybe Corgi.
Enjoy that sweet face! Enjoy your adventures!
Thanks c:
I've never herd of corgi before, but the Chihuahua is what I was thinking the most.
My dog is almost identical except his paws are more chubby. This is him as a puppy.
