I definitely see Chihuahua characteristics in your dog. When comparing your photo to photos of a Chiweenie, your dog does look like a Chiweenie. He is 100% cute.

I think the dog is a Chiweenie.
Your pup is very sweet!!! He has a little of the dachshund barrel chest to him, but some beagles have that barrel chest too so it is hard to tell. The front legs don't bow like a doxie though. Beagles do have straighter legs.
Did the vet weigh in for you? He/she can look at his teeth, hips and bone structure and give you a good guesstimate! He is adorable! May you have many happy adventures together!
