I'm wondering if my dog is a Chiweenie? I was told he was a Pomeranian Chihuahua mix when I got him, but he is very long and has short legs like a Dachshund.

Your pet is so adorable. I am not seeing Pomeranian in him, but I do see some Chihuahua in him. I am looking at the kneecaps, which can sometimes show how big a puppy will become. I think that there could be some Dachshund in him (weenie dog) and Chihuahua, but also something else, which will probably have him grow a little taller than either a Chihuahua or Dachshund or a Pomeranian.
Either way, your darling is so adorable! It is good for a dog to be a little more hefty than extra-small. So that is a good thing, health-wise. Thank you for posting such a beautiful picture.

From my lay person perspective and having had dachshunds forever, I don't see any dachshund in this sweet pup, but I am not an expert.
Have you asked your vet for feedback? The vet can look at teeth, hip line, jaw, etc. and give a best guess.
I almost see some Boston Terrier in that sweet face. A drop of chihuahua in the ears. Maybe even some beagle and pug (puggle) in the coloring, paws and tail. The tail esp. to me looks beagle!

I dont see any chihuahua or dachshund in this dog. Do a dna test to find out the bloodline.
