I brought this dog, the owner says the mother died. He also said it was a blue fawn or something like that and it's 4 weeks old. I don't really know about Pit Bulls can anyone on here assist me?

It looks like a pitbull from the picture. You could have a DNA test run to make sure.
It's really hard to tell from this age. You will probably want to wait for it to grow a bit for pictorial advice, or get an at-home DNA kit.
I do believe they are starting to crack down on owners selling dogs like this. I'm not sure they are in the US, but in UK, nobody can sell a dog without proof of both parent's being present during the sale. This way you can see the parent's of your dog.
As a 4 week old puppy he still needs mother milk for another 2 to 3 weeks. You can easily make the formula yourself and give it to him. Plus, being so young and the mother died, it is best to get him to the vet right away for a checkup and make sure he isn't sick.
As for saying right now if this dog is a full blooded Pit, I'll tell you the truth. It is too hard to tell from these photos. At this age, they change so much and when they grow up they continue to change until they are around 18 months old.
It's too young to be able to tell by picture, you'll have to wait a little bit longer to be Abel to find out or have blood work done
