I got him at 8 weeks old. I saw the mom and dad and they are Pit Bulls. But I get a lot of people saying what is he mixed with?

The only way to tell for sure is to have the vet to do a DNA test.
He has all the markings, including the coloring for the 'red' pit. But you do need either papers of a DNA kit, and the photo does not tell me, for instance, his height, breadth, stand, etc, all which are used to diagnose the breed
If the parents were purebred I would think there would be papers. If not, you would have to get the DNA test.
The parents may have been purebred. Or maybe not.
They may also have not been the real parents of the dog.
There is no real way to tell without a DNA test.
