Is my puppy a pure bred American Staffordshire Terrier? I just got this puppy and he claimed that it was a pure bred Pit Bull. She's 14 weeks and I was wondering if she's a mix and with what breed.

She looks 100% Staffie (short for American Staffordshire Terrier which is the correct and preferred name for this breed) however, I raised AKC Boxers, not Staffies.
Not to lecture, but is it really all that important that she is a pure Staffie? She looks like a sweet dog but Staffies, particularly when referred to as 'pit bulls' are considered a dangerous dog in many American and British locales.
Please be sure you understand your responsibilities including always keeping her leashed and muzzled in public, behind a safe and stout fence when not on lead, and ALWAYS supervised around vulnerable people including children (babies, toddlers, grade schoolers), small teens, disabled, and elderly people.
Additionally you may be liable for higher insurance premiums, rental properties may be difficult if not impossible to contract, and many HOAs are banning the dogs nowadays as well.
Know your responsibilities - if you decide you cannot meet them, please rehome her through a no-kill breed rescue group. They will find her a good home with people who understand the special needs of this breed and are able to meet those needs.
