He looks like a mix to me. You could have a DNA test done to make sure.
What a pretty puppy!!! Such a face!! I see more boxer in this sweet face than anything! Plus a little mastiff and Plott hound. If there is a Staffordshire Terrier gene, it is recessive!
Have you asked your vet for his/her input? They can give you the best guess as all of these breeds have specific markers in hips, jaws, and bone structure!
