They definitely look purebred, but only a DNA test will tell you for certain. Your vet can do it.
they definitely have the classic pit bull look, especially the red nose one with the ears
Only a dna test will tell
It looks very much like one.
Very distinct pit bull looks but it is correct that only a DNA test will fully answer your question. DNA test kits are available on line generally starting at $60 or your vet will do a test but cost will probably run $100 dollars or more. Some of the pet supply stores (Petsmart, etc) have kits or run the tests.
Yes my friend that is a full blooded red nose pitbull
The red one maybe but the other is more bully
Yes that is a full blooded pit bull.
No his ears are to pointy
Without a ped or some idea of the bloodline you won't know based off looks alone. There are alot of bully breeds that get called a pitbull. Pitbull isn't a type of dog as many ppl mistakenly think. It's a legit breed with a registry and written breed standard. The ADBA/BFK are some registries used and a example of bloodlines/strains that are known for APBT are Sorrels, Boudreaux, Colby(legit Colby dogs aren't widely available but many ppl claim to have one), Hollingsworth, Hemphill, Lightner, Redboy, Jeep, Yellow John etc.
American Staffordshire Terrier is the only one that is genetically the same as the American Pitbull Terrier, but has been bred to a different standard for a different reason compared to the APBT for over 100yrs. They are different enough that they are considered their own breed by some. The AKC and UKC are the main registries used. Some lines for these are Tacoma, Ruffian and Gaff there are more but those are the only ones that come to mind.
The Am bully is a new breed and was officially recognized in 2014 or so. It's dogs come primarily off Am Staffs and depending on the breed class(size and look) all lines have had other breeds crossed into them. Some mastiff, bandog for the XXL and some Exteme types. Breeds like American Bulldogs, Presa or Cane Corso and Bull Mastiff.
The standard and pocket variety may have more Am Staff because they tend to look like larger versions of them mixed with whatever else.
The Exotics and some other strains of pocket have Boston terrier, English bulldog, French Bulldog, Olde English bred into them to get the short squat bulky build. Some bloodlines are RazorsEdge, Gotti, Watchdog, Remyline, Dax, Miagi. Mikeland etc. Dogs coming from Am Staffs before being crossed into established bully lines may be registered with the UKC and ABKC but most are primarily registered with ABKC. Hope this helps
All are bred to keep the pitty look but aren't pitbulls. Alot of the dogs nowadays are a mix of one or more of these which is why a ped is necessary to know what you have. Looks can't tell you anything.
Unfortunately, it looks to me to have toonarrow of a skull and jaw muscle area to be full. When the dog lays down does it put its legs out behind them ?
Why do you ask if it put his legs out behind him when he lays down????
