I hope someone can help. My New Home Janome 361 sewing machine was working fine, then all of a sudden it's started to sew very slowly. The stitching is still fine and it is threaded up the right way. Help?

When was the last time your vintage New Home went in for a servicing? There are so many reasons your machine is slowing (usually needs proper cleaning and oiling of internal parts but could also be a gear belt getting ready to go, the foot control wiring...) that it would be quicker and better for your machine to take it to a qualified repair tech - look for one adverting he/she is factory trained and/or specialises in vintage machines of all makes.
