I have not used my Janome 419S sewing machine for quite some time. I tried to use the machine today and the fabric does not feed through. I checked through the troubleshooting guide, went through all ideas, and it is still not working. Anyone any ideas of the problem?
Thanks in advance.

If you truly have not used it in awhile, it would be a very good idea to take it in to a reputable service to have it cleaned and oiled unless you are apt to do it yourself. The feed dogs can get jammed so they will not feed fabric if there is lint and debris built up around them. If you want to try it yourself first, use sewing machine oil, a sewing machine lint remover brush, and canned air for the cleaning and oiling. Also most sewing machine manuals have a reference section in regards to cleaning and oiling. If these actions do not have good results, then I'd recommend biting the bullet as they say and take it in as mentioned above.
