I saw this idea online. I had collected a lot of old jewelry and bought some old silverware from our neighbor's garage sale. So I put the two together to create this unique wall hanging.
Supplies:
- old jewelry
- old silverware
- chains
- jewelry hardware
- small pliers
Steps:
- Choose the pieces of jewelry desired and remove from original jewelry pieces. Choose a few different kinds of chain. Design placement by putting jewelry and chain onto a large surface. I used a piece of white cardboard. Take a picture of the design for future reference. (I used the first picture, which I found online, for inspiration.)
- Drill holes into spoon where desired for placement of jewelry and chains. Attach chains to spoon. Hang on nail to determine placement of jewelry.
- Using pliers, start attaching jewelry to holes on spoon or chain with small jewelry rings (hardware).
