John Deere L110 Mower Won't Start?

I used my mower last week and today there is nothing, no clicking no turning to start, total quiet! The light does come on. I took the seat apart to get to the kill switch and manually depressed the button, while depressing clutch to activate and still nothing. I am not much of a mechanic so I think I am close to trying to load it into my truck and taking it to local repair shop!

Try replacing the spark plug and cleaning out the carburetor. If that doesnt work take it in for servicing.

With it not doing anything No lights nothing, sounds like your battery. If you have a battery charger you can put it on it. Something might have been left on and ran it down. It would just need charged. Or you might have a dead cell in it. Which then you will need a new one.

You can take the battery to auto zone and they will test it for free. If not battery its more then likely your alternator. You can check around for prices. Sometimes it is cheaper if get one rebuild. Hope this helps.
