I have a John Deere lt155 tractor that runs great until I start to go up a hill then it stalls out. It is like it runs out of gas (tank is full of gas ) and when I turn the tractor around to go down it fires right up and runs great. Any thoughts?

It sounds like a fuel pump issue in the tractor. If the fuel pump is not working at 100% this is what happens when you go up a hill and switch from level ground. The pump is not pushing enough gas through the motor to keep the machine running.
Ok but would a bad pump fuel cause issues all the time. Could it be the pick up tube in tank and yes tank is full of fresh gas and believe if the carburetor was going it wouldnt run good at all On flat ground runs like a champ, even with the blades running
Carburetor/filter issue!
I would check the carburetor and the fuel filter.
