It's my son's bday on 4 September and on the same date my husband is turning 31. So please suggest some theme to celebrate a joint duet bday party for both of them.
You should make a theme that has a common interest to the two of them. I understand your son is just 4 but does he like sports of any kind, does he like cars or even building with blocks. Now ask yourself if your husband has some of the same interests that your son has and then build the theme around the common interest. You can do this around cars, motorcycles, building blocks, trucks, legos, or even sports like soccer or baseball.
What about make it a total young at heart party with old fashioned games--like drop the clothes pin in a milk bottle, pin the tail on the donkey, a pinata, and musical chairs. The kids vs. kids, adults vs. adults, but same games for all. I went to one of these years ago and it was a blast. Prizes can be both adult and child friendly, like candy bars or low dollar amount gift cards for family friendly places--like Dairy Queen.
Have fun and do this safely!! Don't forget the rules for your town if social distancing and masks are still required. Maybe masks can be the give away! Safety first!
Happy birthday to both!

So my son is turning 1 this year on July 17th and my husband is turning 22 this year on July 30th. Since their birthdays are so close, I was thinking about having both a joint birthday and this would be my first time doing something like this.
So if anyone can help me out and give me some ideas, themes, gifts, or anything at all, that would help me out a lot.You can do a sports theme for husband/son :)
