How and when did you get your pet?
She was a stray that my then 14 year old son found running around in a shopping center parking lot.
What does your pet like to do for fun?
She likes to walk or run the entire perimeter if our property to make sure there are no intruders. She is actually blind now, but she still does this every day and night. She thinks she is a very big dog instead of a 6 pound Chihuahua.
Do you have anything else to share about your pet?
She is my very best friend in the world. I was diagnosed with a serious blood disease before my son found her and I suffered from chronic pain and depression as a result of this. Once Josephine came I would wake in the morning to see her looking at me and my partner told me she never saw me smile in the morning until Josephine came. Mornings have always been difficult because that is when the pain is at its worst. Josephine is like a therapy dog who has given me a reason to get up and smile every morning.

Josephine is adorable! I have a chihuahua as well and they are my favorite breed. It makes me sad when dogs are strays especially if they are chihuahua's since they are so small and vulnerable.
