What does your pet like to do for fun?
Josie loves watching the TV show "Pitbulls and Parolees" on Animal Planet, going for walks, playing tug-o-war, chewing up anything that she probably shouldn't, playing with other dogs, taking up 75% of the bed at night, etc.

Do you have anything else to share about your pet?
Josie was dropped off at a dog shelter in Philly in July 2014. Nothing is known about her past life, but it seems like she didn't have much love before she came to us. She's a true "rags to riches" story. She was adopted at 17 lbs., and after a lot of love, time, money, and getting over illnesses, she is living the good life at a solid 40 lbs. Josie is a ball of energy now, she loves playing, especially with other dogs, but she's still working on figuring out where her "off switch" is. She loves to be between mom and dad when they are relaxing, and she follows her dad around like a shadow. Josie hates it when she is out in public and people give her a mean look and go out of their way to avoid her because of her breed's "bad reputation". Although she hasn't told us yet, we're pretty sure that Josie's goal is to be an ambassador for the Pit Bull breed, so she can get rid the negative stereotypes that are out there.
