Prep Time: 15 minutes + overnight marinate
Cook Time: 1 hour, 15 minutes
Total Time: 1 hour, 30 minutes
Yield: 4 people
Ingredients:
- 1 bunch (white part) green onion
- 1 small white onions
- 6 minced garlic
- 4 Tbsp oyster sauce
- 2 Tbsp salt
- Dash of pepper
- 2 Tbsp garlic powder
- 2.5 lb pork tenderloin
- 2 Tbsp vegetable oil
Steps:
- Chop and mince ingredients.
- In a medium pot, 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil over medium heat. Sauté minced garlic for 1 minute, then add all chopped ingredients and oyster sauce for 2 minutes.
- Wash and pat dry pork tenderloin. Cut the layers of tenderloin open.
- Use a meat tenderizer and pound meat.
- Dry rub outside consist of salt, garlic powder and dash of pepper. Sprinkle a little of the rub on the inside. Then add spread the sauté mixture.
- Then start rolling and secure with rope. Tip: Temporarily used rubber band to help seal with string. Use the remaining dry rub and sprinkle on the outer layer. Allow to marinate overnight.
- Next day, brown over high heat for one minute per 4 sides.
- Ready to bake your pork tenderloin. Line with foil and cover. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes then turn the meat around and bake for another 30 minutes until your desired doneness.
