Ususally the curriculum have craft ideas for the lessons. Or, go to a crafts store and browse the craft ideas and craft books and see what you can tie in to the lessons-there are lots of things for rainbows, flowerpots (growth, new life, etc), various things for fruits of the spirits, try a google search of Sunday school crafts, or similar.
Beading bracelets, necklaces, fimo clay, origami, candle making (sand candles), basically anything beyond cutting and pasting. Middle schoolers like more elaborate projects, or projects that seem a little more technical, advanced. The Family Fun magazine has lots of projects for all ages, and is a great resource. Lots of times I adapt projects for older kids. Their website is also a great resource. Or, go to your library and check out a stack of old Family Fun issues and take them home and copy out the projects you'd like to use.
These pretty embroidery floss friendship bracelets are very easy to make and make wonderful gifts. Keep reading to learn how to make a Sherbert Swirl Friendship Bracelet.
