Numi is a Siamese mix and Karma is a orange tabby colored mix, perhaps with Maine Coon.
How and when did you get your pet?
They were both adopted; Karma from the Humane Society and Numi from a no kill cat shelter.
What does your pet like to do for fun?
They are cats, so of course a typical day is eat, sleep, play, sleep, eat, pester the human, and then there is late nite snackle time (partially inspired by Winnie the Pooh's smackerel). The DH started this "wonderful" snack offered around 9pm. They get a teaspoon of kibble and 6+ dental chews. Of course, although my lovely kitties have a fairly good internal food clock, sometimes it can be off by an hour or more. Then I get to watch this behavior. They sit and stare waiting. If you don't get up and feed them then Karma starts the head butting and rubbing ploy. The human just needs to stay strong in the face of kitty love aimed at securing food and snacks. They are very persistent.
Do you have anything else to share about your pet?
These guys are the best kitties. They have been fast friends ever since I brought Numi home a month or so after getting Karma. We were lucky, no tedious introductions needed. We let Numi out of the crate they bumped noses and the friendship began 8+ years ago.
