Keep Cross Stitch Material Clean With an Old Sock

I do a lot of cross stitching and have often found the material at the bottom to be more soiled than I thought it should be. I figured that this was because of my arm rubbing against the material on the scroll bar. I took one of hubby's socks, cut the ribbing off and slipped it on my arm; no more soil!

Oh. Excellent! I'm gonna use this idea to protect my arm when I'm using the mouse at the computer. The edge of the desk rubs terribly! Your use for cross stitching is great!
