Keeping Dogs Out of Your Kitchen

September 14, 2015

A row of water bottles to keep pets out.I had to come up with something to prevent my two small dogs (30 lb. range) from being in the room while I mop or cook. You can see that my water bottle barricade is made of 1 gallon water bottles. I don't fill them with water but if your puppy likes to test things, you can fill them to make it more sturdy. If you glue them like I did, it's easier to move around. I can place up against the wall or store behind my couch. Really works well

Definite thumbs up - although I think I'd have needed water butts when I had my Lurchers! :-D

Pretty lucky here, both sides of my kitchen have cafe doors, I just shut them after I mop, but I like your idea if I did not have cafe doors! Linda Hagelstien
