To keep your ice cream fresh longer, store it toward the back of the freezer, instead of toward the front close to where the door is being opened and closed all the time.

Keeping Ice Cream Fresh

To prevent ice crystals from forming on the ice cream, place plastic wrap directly on the ice cream when in the freezer. A few years ago this was not necessary since the kids never let ice cream stay that long in the freezer. It's only the two of us so this tip helps us keep our ice cream longer.
