My late Carmel used to play with them so I was NOT happy to have them around...as she would sometimes bring her new "friend" in to the house to continue the "play". She did this with moths also...but I digress...
They aren't dangerous or harmful, but depending on where they are, they can become garden pests and not garden friends.
