If you have an ice maker, it could be that there is a blockage or loose connection.
Check your freezer and make sure nothing is touching the back wall of the unit. At times if your freezer is full the air can't flow freely to freeze the food in the freezer.
Also check the back of your freezer. Use a vacuum cleaner to clean the dust off the coils of your unit.
My bad! What I thought was a damaged water valve turned out to be a pin hole leak in the water supply line! Problem solved by fixing water supply.
This could be something very simple but when you start messing with tubes in your refrigerator you might create more problems.
The weekend may not be a good time to call but any week day try calling your local Sears Service Center and they can most likely tell you what is causing it and if you can fix.
