Since I love succulents and planting them, the kids wanted to make their own succulent terrarium version as well. They have been collecting random rocks and shells. Oh and they love assorted colored beads. Plus succulents are easy to maintain and perfect for kids!
For younger children, you can opt for a plastic container (recycled ice cream container or any plastic container you may have around.) For reasonably older children, they can use any recycled glass container, or ones found at Dollar Tree for $1.
