You'll need to go to a home and garden center and talk with the people there. This will depend on the type of grass you currently have and what types of weeds are growing in your grass. Most people will just pull them out and go on. But this is a major job and for some reason the weeds love coming back.
Try RoundUp. It's made for killing weeds and not the lawn:

You need to use a weed killer that specifies it won't kill the surrounding grass. Go to a garden center.
There are to many brand names on the market to name. I would advise to go to a garden center and talk to a salesperson in the department where you find "weed killer" .
Thank you for your time and efforts.
Baking soda can be used to banish many types of weeds and is a natural substance, but I'm not sure what effects it might have on grass. I've used it with a lot of success on weeds that grow in between sidewalk & patio pavers. You might want to check with garden center experts or your state's Agricultural Extension staffers.
