I was tired of digging through a drawer to find the kitchen tools I needed. Then I got the idea to buy those inexpensive magnetic cup hooks and attach them all around my hood vent. Now the tools are at my finger tips, it looks nice, and I freed up a drawer for something else. I used the drawer for all my spices.

Question: How do you keep them from getting greasy?
I used to have a system similar to this. The utensils do get dirty and dusty.
I store all of my kitchen utensils on my small island on the bottom shelf; I have a containers for the wooden utensils, spatulas, plastic and non-stick utensils, my two favorite rolling pins are stored at the end of the shelf. I have a large terra cotta roasting pan that was cracked filled with various utensils and I also keep my upright paper towel holder on that shelf. I have a small white cutting board hanging from the side and a small colander hanging on the opposite side of this small moveable island. When I am cooking a lot of recipes, I roll the island up to the stove and counter area so the utensils, cutting boards will be accessible during my cooking process or baking.
I have no situation with them getting dusty or greasy, maybe because I use spatter screens and use my kitchen tools often, even if any got dusty a quick rinse would work, my system works fine for me.
