What color should I paint my kitchen walls? I want something to go with black counter tops with white cabinets.
Thanks.

Any color will go with black and white. It just depends on what you like. (06/12/2010)

Anything would go with those colors, just decide on the look you want. Red would be dynamic and exciting. Grey, beige, taupe, plum, or burgundy would be subtle and sophisticated. Pink would be retro and 50's. Peach, lemon, coral, or apricot would be cheerful. Sage or turquoise would be very "now". I would avoid the chocolate brown that's so popular now, it would be too dark and gloomy. (06/12/2010)

You have received some great replies here. I would go with yellow for the walls and then get a few accent pieces in red, turquoise or another color you like. I found a color called Cornmeal that is cheery but not blinding as a Key West yellow might be. I would suggest whatever color you choose that you buy a quart or sample size if possible. Paint a poster board with it. Put it around on different walls at different times of the day to see if you like it before you buy the required amount. Good luck! It should be a fun project.
