Kitchen Paint Color Advice

I have off white ceilings and skirtings. What colour can I paint my walls? I have a kitchen with black countertops and white cupboards. The floor is light timber.

You could go subtle with a tan or sage, or daring with a red or bold yellow. Think about any furniture you might want to coordinate with in the kitchen, breakfast room, or any connecting den. Are there drapes to match or pull a color from? (07/16/2010)
